A Program Tailor Made for You

Columbia Hands of Hope is dedicated to giving our students the training they need to start a new, exciting career in the health care industry. Our students typically join Columbia Hands of Hope because they are tired of being stuck in multiple part-time jobs, working bad hours, having limited career advancement potential, and low pay. Our combination of classroom learning and hands-on experience ensures that our students have everything they need to become Nursing Assistants, Home Health Aides, and Health Care Specialists. Once your classes are completed, you will have all the knowledge you need to take the Nursing Assistant exam and become a licensed NA.

Our program’s intention is to give you the best nursing training and education with the emphasis on respect, choice, dignity, and compassion.  In this career field, you are expected to care for the sick, elderly and disabled.  NA‘s are expected to provide the highest level of respect and compassion when providing patient care.

We exercise great patience with students, we pay close attention to detail, and our hands-on method of teaching has really inspired our students to excel in the health care industry.  It takes a special kind of person to work in the health care field and if you feel this is you then we invite you to enroll today.

Nurse Aide Program (6 Weeks)

Our six-week Nursing Assistant Program consists of 100 hours of comprehensive nursing assistant training which includes basic nursing concepts with training in the virtual/classroom, lab and a clinical setting at a local long term care facility. We offer evening classes to meet the needs of working individuals’ schedule.

Students will cover medical terminology, anatomy, physiology and more.

Tuition

Total amount of tuition (state exam included) is $1700.00.

Students who receive an offer of employment from a Long Term Medicaid Certified Facility within 12 months of earning their South Carolina State Certified Nurse Aide License (CNA License) are eligible to be reimbursed by the facility in which they are employed if they have not previously been sponsored or reimbursed for the training.

Each student is responsible to investigate this possibility with their place of employment independently.  Columbia Hands of Hope is not responsible for arranging payment.
